Our client is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Scientist to join their dynamic R&D team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of epoxy, polyurethane, and polymer coatings chemistries, coupled with hands-on experience in scale- up. The successful candidate should thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment, exhibit flexibility regarding time commitments, and excel in collaborative team settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of epoxy, polyurethane, and polymer coatings chemistries.
  • Experience in scale -up activities.
  • Employ an analytical, organised, and methodical approach to all tasks.
  • Drive innovation and resourcefulness in product development processes.
  • Acknowledge and adapt to commercial demands while maintaining high scientific standards.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate proficiently across all levels.
  • Utilize laboratory equipment adeptly to support research and development efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BSc or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the polyurethane industry.
  • Demonstrable track record of employment aligning with the responsibilities of this role.
  • Familiarity with the industrial polyurethane/foam market, including contractors and manufacturers.
