About the Role:We are currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a reputable residential home in Bridgnorth. The residential home specializes in Dementia, Eating Disorders, and Physical Disabilities, providing quality care in a compassionate environment.
Position Details:
- Shift: Days
- Hourly Rate: £12.00-£13.00
- Full-time Contracts: 36 hours per week
- Experience Required: NVQ Level 3 and previous senior experience in healthcare
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day shift, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night
- Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior healthcare assistants, ensuring high-quality care delivery
- Conduct regular checks on residents to monitor health conditions and report any changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Ensure residents' personal care needs are met with dignity and respect
- Communicate with family members, staff, and healthcare professionals regarding residents' needs and care
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents
- Take part in training and professional development to maintain and improve care standards
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Senior Healthcare Assistant experience
- Passionate about delivering care to those with Dementia, Eating Disorders, and Physical Disabilities
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
