About the Role:We are currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a reputable residential home in Bridgnorth. The residential home specializes in Dementia, Eating Disorders, and Physical Disabilities, providing quality care in a compassionate environment.

Position Details:

  • Shift: Days
  • Hourly Rate: £12.00-£13.00
  • Full-time Contracts: 36 hours per week
  • Experience Required: NVQ Level 3 and previous senior experience in healthcare

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day shift, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night
  • Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior healthcare assistants, ensuring high-quality care delivery
  • Conduct regular checks on residents to monitor health conditions and report any changes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
  • Ensure residents' personal care needs are met with dignity and respect
  • Communicate with family members, staff, and healthcare professionals regarding residents' needs and care
  • Promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents
  • Take part in training and professional development to maintain and improve care standards

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
