Role: Field Network EngineerSalary: Up to £33,000 per annum + benefitsLocation: West Midlands (Field based role)We're seeking a talented individual with a passion for technology to join our client's growing team. As a key member of their technical installation team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's infrastructure. You will be pivotal in the set up new retail facilities and this position will take you all over the UK.Your responsibilities will include providing hands-on support for the installation and configuration of new store technology, such as switches, access points, VoIP systems, and more. You'll also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues before stores go live, ensuring that the technology is always up and running.In addition, you'll collaborate with project teams to onboard new solutions into our client's support system and provide end-user IT training when needed. You'll also be responsible for documenting solutions and be happy to travel to sites at short noticeAs the Field Implementation Engineer, you will have:
  • Significant experience in the retail sector, with experience in technical installations.
  • Demonstratable experience in liaising with third parties to ensure timely store openings.
  • The capability in completing root cause analysis for common issues.
  • Extensive experience in providing suggestions for improving support services.
