Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: West Midlands (Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office)

Xpertise are excited to be working with a well-known organisation in the retail sector to source them a Project Manager to join their IT team. My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead on a variety of IT projects ranging in complexity, initially surrounding infrastructure and networks.

I’m looking to speak with individuals who have demonstrable experience delivering and leading on a range of IT projects and workstreams, who has a strong governance background and planning skills. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to positively influence stakeholders of various levels.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Taking full ownership of projects, responsible for solving problems and overseeing tasks through to finish
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the delivery of projects
• Work closely with the Solution Architect to ensure the quality levels of the deliverables meet expectations
• Manage project risks and ensure best practice governance
• Production management of required products as per project deliverables, including project control documents such as PID
• Being the liaison between the technical IT teams and business stakeholders of a varying understanding of IT knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience required:

• Experience as a Project Manager within a fast-paced environment
• Experience around infrastructure projects, ideally around networking, WIFI, CCTV but not essential
• Familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
