We’re currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable General Teaching Assistants to support classrooms across a range of year groups in local primary schools. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone passionate about education and eager to make a real difference in children’s learning and development.

Start date: ASAP or September 2025
About You:
• You’re passionate about education and supporting young learners• You have experience working with children (either in schools or other settings)• You’re flexible, proactive, and confident working across different age groups• You have a reliable method of transport to reach schools in North Somerset
What you need to join the Class People Team:
• Relevant qualifications (or currently working towards them)• Strong communication skills• A positive and patient attitude• An enhanced DBS certificate (registered with the Update Service or willing to apply through Class People)

Responsibilities of the Role:
• Support the class teacher with day-to-day activities• Work with individuals and small groups to boost learning and engagement• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment• Assist with classroom organisation and resource preparation
Pay Rates:
• £87.48 – £109.06 per day (based on experience and responsibilities)
