Interim Associate Director of People Immediately Required

Our client, a well-respected NHS organisation in Somerset, is looking for an Interim Associate Director of People to come on board on a temporary basis for an initial 12-month contract to cover maternity leave, this will be a very Senior Operational and Strategic position.

Location: Somerset (Hybrid Remote 2/3 days onsite per week)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Length of Contract: 12 Months (Mat Cover)

Hourly Rate: £45.10 via Umbrella

Day to Day Duties:

  • The postholder will be involved in all things People within the trust
  • Assisting Senior HR Business Partners with Business Partnering across the trust
  • Will be responsible for managing large scale Organisational Change within the trust
  • Assist the trust in attempting to reduce running costs by 30%
  • Will be responsible for managing a large scale TUPE into the trust over the next 6 – 12 months
  • Willing to be hands on with writing workforce reports and presenting information to stakeholders and senior members of the trust
  • Work in partnership with stakeholders to ensure the organisation is well-led and highperforming and achieves its strategic and operational objectives
  • Utilise your experience in supporting ER casework, tribunals etc.
  • Ensure regular and constructive two-way dialogue throughout the organisation so staff feel well informed, valued, and engaged with the objectives of the trust
  • Oversee a robust workable policy framework underpinned by reliable, client-focused, efficient systems and processes.
  • Drive system leadership by sharing good practice and resources across the trust

Essential Skills:

  • Previous Senior HR/People experience gained within large organisations
  • Postholder will be required to showcase Senior Leadership skills
  • Experienced in handling large scale Organisational change
  • CIPD qualified
