I am working alongside a leading regional civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a site manager to help deliver an earthworks and civils package being delivered for a valued client in Somerset. The project is due to run through to mid 2025. My client is looking to onboard a site manager who will be boots on the ground as a pose to office based.
Site manager responsibilities:
- Pushing the team on site.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed method and methodology.
- Checking quality.
- Checking levels.
- Completing daily checks sheets.
- Completing daily diaries.
- Liaising with the client and subcontractors on site.
Site manager requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- CSCS Card - Gold or Black.
- SMSTS.
- First aid.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience with bulk earthworks or earthworks or reinstatement projects.
- Previous civils experience (Infrastructure/ highways).
- IT literate.
- Strong communication skills.
