Working Monday - Friday 6am-3pm.
The Role
To carry out ongoing preventative and emergency maintenance work throughout the site in conjunction with the requirements of the Company.
Duties:
- Daily visual equipment check for production line machinery
- Carry out regular and ongoing electrical maintenance
- Generally assist operations and office staff with requests for maintenance repairs;
- Carry out tasks on maintenance repair list in priority order;
- Complete works as detailed in Managers maintenance request sheets;
- Attending and resolving emergency breakdowns as they occur, working to get equipment serviceable in a timely manner;
- Installation and commissioning of equipment
- Assist with carrying out general building maintenance
The Person
- Electrical experience
- Manufacturing background
- Good practical skills and a common-sense approach.
- The ability to work under extreme pressure if, for example, an entire production line is shut down
- The tact, diplomacy and sense of humour required to deal with people in stressful situations and provide confident assurance
- Self-confidence and ability to work independently or as a member of a team
