What the Stores Manager job involves
- You will lead a team of 8-12, completing regular 1-2-1 and appraisals
- Looking to motivate and support your team with their continuous development
- Working closely with production, planning and procurement teams to ensure the management of stock
- Completing stock and safety audits
- Updating processes and procedures to look for efficiencies and cost savings
Skills required
- Previous experience of managing a Stores or Warehouse team
- Positive and enthusiastic outlook
- Experience of working with ERP Systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Understanding and experience of working on Stock rotation or stock cycling processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and varied role, working towards tight deadlines and targets
- Understanding of LEAN manufacturing processes would be advantageous

- This is a permanent and full-time position based
- 25 days holidays plus bank holidays per year.
