Morgan McKinley is delighted to have partnered with a forward-thinking and innovative organisation based on the outskirts of Brighton to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team.
As a key member in the central finance team, you'll report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with a skilled and experienced team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a new challenge in a rewarding environment!
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Assistant Accountant duties include:
- Filing of VAT returns
- Supporting with general bookkeeping
- Improving processes
- Liaising with clients regarding technical accounting, alongside developing relationships
- Supporting with audits
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation, alongside year-end preparation
- Supporting with wider financial accounting
- Support with management accounts preparation
Skills & experience
- ACCA studier
- Exposure to management accounts processes
- Good systems knowledge
