Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working with an innovative SME in the heart of Brighton, East Sussex in the recruitment of an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Assistant for a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting into the head of department / finance manager, the successful applicant will oversee a high volume accounts payable workload. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable company that values growth, collaboration, and excellence.
Salary: £26K - £29K per annum
Location: Brighton, hybrid working - 2 days in the office
Senior Accounts Payable duties include:
- Processing high volume accounts payable invoices
- Payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Overseeing the payment and approval of staff expenses
- Managing in-bound AP queries
- Supporting with process improvements
Skills include:
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Exposure to 'high-volume' AP environments
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
