Geo-Environmental Engineer - Brighton - £negotiable

Salary: £29,000-£35,000

I am working with a very well-established environmental consultancy based in Brighton who are looking to expand their team with Junior geo-environmental engineers. This client has three UK based offices servicing to a wide range of clients including; construction, infrastructure, and transport.

You will be joining a friendly and dynamic team to work on a wide range of projects including rail, residential, commercial, and industrial. The successful candidate will be joining an extremely successful specialist practise with an excellent reputation and career progression.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing desktop reports
  • Producing contaminated land consults
  • Undertaking environmental audits
  • Proposal writing
  • Mentoring more junior staff members
  • Project managing
  • Client liaison

Needed qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant in degree e.g. Environmental sciences or Environmental Engineering
  • Working towards Associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management
  • Ability to write and review accurate desktop reports
  • Ability to work as a team player with good communication skills
  • Excellent report writing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Full UK driving license (own vehicle not necessary)
