Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our team starting in September. This role is open to both part-time and full-time applicants. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across various humanities subjects, helping students to develop critical thinking and a deep understanding of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in humanities subjects.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in teaching humanities subjects.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is desirable but not essential.
