Science Teacher | D2D / LT/ Perm | June 2024 | ChichesterWe are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teachers to work in a variety of roles throughout Sussex. As a Science Teacher, you will be expected to create engaging lesson plans, deliver lessons, and conduct practical experiments to help students understand scientific concepts.Based in Sussex for over 20 years, HAYS education offers high-quality supply teaching service, helping schools with day-to-day cover as well as more long-term vacancies. We are dedicated in finding you teaching work to suit your needs and availability whether you are a science teacher wanting the flexibility of short-term work or the security of a long-term role.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the curriculum.- Prepare classroom activities and assignments that are both educational and interactive.- Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, quizzes, and other assignments.- Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom discussions.- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of science education.Requirements:- QTS / PGCE / NARIC- Proven experience as a Science Teacher.- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and principles.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.If you are passionate about science education and want to make a positive impact on students' lives, we would love to hear from you.
