Job Description
Spectrum IT are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Contract Software Developer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both VB.NET and C# development practices. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to work confidently on the clients legacy platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications using VB.NET
- Debug and fix software defects
- Assist with integration tests
- Work with product managers and other stakeholders to gather and implement requirements
- Deploy and maintain software applications to production environments
- Follow Agile development practices
Required skills
- Experience in software development using legacy VB.NET along with C#.NET
- SQL Server knowledge
- Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Angular (Beneficial)
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
