Your new role

  • As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial management of engineering projects.
  • You will assist in the financial analysis of project budgets, cost tracking, and reporting to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Your responsibilities will include supporting month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and analysing project expenditures.
  • You will work closely with project managers to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA part-qualified).
  • Experience in the engineering sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
