Robert Half have exclusively partnered with a manufacturing business in South Bristol on the recruitment of a full time and permanent Assistant Management Accountant to join the team.
The role of Assistant Management Accountant will provide a broad range of support within the finance department, working with a close-knit team as well as managing relationships across the wider business and group.
Our client is a fully office-based business and are easily accessible with plenty of free parking available. Working hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on a Friday of 2:45pm.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include but not be limited to:
- Managing daily cash payments and preparing monthly cash plans.
- Collating and preparing reports for group reporting.
- Maintaining trackers and databases, ensuring they are up to date with accurate information.
- Monitoring business performance and the impact on company financial results.
- Preparing and maintaining accounts.
- Preparation of cash forecasting.
- Reconciling monthly management accounts.
Your Profile:
- Demonstrable experience within a similar accounting & finance position.
- AAT qualified, or currently studying a professional accounting qualification.
- Good knowledge & understanding of financial controls/financial forecasting.
- Proficient Excel and ERP system user.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £30-32k plus 25 days holiday.
