Assistant Project Accountant

They are expanding their financial team and are looking for an Assistant Project Accountant who shares their passion for precision and progress. Your new roleAs an Assistant Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting with budget preparation, monitoring project expenditures, and preparing financial reports. You will work closely with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and compliance throughout the life cycle of their construction projects. For instance, you will prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, cost tracking, and forecasting, to aid in strategic decision-making. You will also closely monitor project budgets, ensuring all financial activities are recorded accurately and timely What you'll need to succeed

• Experienced accountant with proven experience assisting on projects.
• At least 2+ years experience
• AAT Qualified or studying for ACCA/CIMA
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
