Civil Engineer

Design - Development Infrastructure - Highways, Drainage, Earthworks - Full Time - Permanent - Bristol - HybridWe're looking for a Civil Engineer in Bristol!The Company: Are a people-minded development consultancy that works in partnership with clients and the wider community.The company provide a suite of services for major infrastructure and development schemes, with a reputation of designing and delivering some of the most complex projects.Based in a modern office, you will feel right at home among friends and colleagues in a supportive, professional work environment, where you will feel inspired and a part of something greater.Your New Role:You will have the chance to take the step up to work on complex schemes with many stakeholders to impress. These projects could range from residential, commercial, retail, public and infrastructure sectors, including major utility installations, new towns, schools/leisure centres, public buildings and business parks. Specifically, your role will include the design of highways (S38 / S278) both preliminary and detailed, drainage (S104 / S98) both strategic and detailed, foul pumping stations, SUDS, flow control structures and balancing facilities, and earthworks and external levels for developments.Requirements:

• Background in the design of roads or drainage, ideally with experience on UK projects.
• Knowledge of industry standard software which may include Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, PDS etc.
• BEng Civil Engineering, MEng Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• The desire to work towards Chartership/professional accreditation.
