Composite Fitter required for a multinational manufacturing company who are market leading in their industry. They are a brand associated with quality and pride themselves on providing a great working environment. The roles are a result of ongoing success and growth within their field.
 
The role would suit composite fitters, mechanical fitters or mechanical technicians with experience of interpreting and working to engineering drawings. Must have either an apprenticeship which is aerospace related or if they have qualifications at NVQ Level 3 as part of a modern apprenticeship or City & Guilds level 3. Composite Fitters who have 3 years experience working to aerospace quality standards will have a considerable . Security clearance will be required for the successful applicant.
 
The role will involve assembling composite and metallic aircraft components in line with design and engineering requirements to customer specification. You will work to close tolerances to trim materials using a range of power tools. You will use different assembly methods; drilling, reaming, bolting, countersinking as well as deburring and fettling. As part of your role you will calibrate tools. You will work to high quality standards and strict H&S guidelines.

The Composite Fitter:
*Assembling composite and metallic aircraft components in line with design and engineering requirements to customer specification

The Person:
*Would suit mechanical fitters, mechanical fitters or mechanical assembly operatives
*Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
*Can transfer from ANY industrial or manufacturing environment
*Experience within the aerospace industry is advantageous but not essential
*Will ideally have an apprenticeship or equivalent
*Security clearance will be required for this role
