A well-established and internationally recognised manufacturer, who are true specialists in their industry are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for their Bristol based manufacturing site. The company is experiencing ongoing growth and success within their markets.
The role will require you to produce design schemes, assembly drawings and parts lists for a range of machinery. You will be responsible for all mechanical aspects of projects as well as providing technical guidance to customers.
 
The Role:

·Mechanical design works for customer projects.
·Attend customer specification meetings, providing a creative and authoritative contribution.
·Carry out risk assessments on machinery and assemblies of machinery.
·Aid in the assembly and commissioning of packaging machinery.
 
The Person:

·Mechanical Engineering Degree (Minimum HNC)
·Design engineering experience in capital equipment, within the packaging industry would be advantageous.
·3D modelling skills using Solid Works or Inventor.
·Experience in design of electro-mechanical mechanisms and equipment.
·Understanding of Servo Motion technology and product handling equipment.
