Your new companyAn excellent new role has arisen in a well established practice in Bristol for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager. They are renowned for the work they produce and how they support and nurture their staff. Therefore this is a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven individual to progress their career in practice to the next level!Your new roleIn your new role you will join a welcoming and high performing tax team and play a key part of delivering compliance work and supporting with planning projects. This means you will be completing high-quality corporation tax returns, addressing any queries relating to tax filings and payments. You will assist with providing value-adding, technically accurate and clear tax advice on an array of topics such as loss relief, tax relief on interest, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, capital allowance, group reorganisations, shareholder reorganisations, and acquisitions and disposals.What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed you must have a proven track record of delivering corporate tax compliance to a variety of clients, whether that be in a specialist or mixed tax capacity. You will be ATT, ACA, CA or CTA qualified or part-qualified with an excellent understanding of the importance of managing a varied workload with strict deadlines, all whilst developing your commercial acumen and ability to spot additional opportunities for the firm. You will demonstrate a good work-ethic and a desire to develop your tax career further and must also be a team player, supportive and friendly as well as possessing excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.What you'll get in returnYou'll be offered a competitive salary with additional benefits such as pension and a generous holiday entitlement.
