Your new companyAn exciting new role has arisen in a large accountancy practice in Bristol for a Corporate Tax Manager. This is therefore a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven individual to progress their career in practice to the next level!Your new role In your new role you will join a welcoming and high performing team. As Corporate Tax Manager you will help clients mitigate their tax risk and be dynamic with your advice offering in line with legislative changes and be heavily involved in aspects of tax reporting, compliance, planning and strategy. As well as being a client liaison, you will be reviewing other team members' tax computations, advising companies on specific research projects, managing HMRC aspect enquiries on behalf of clients and be expected to identify opportunities with clients to encourage new work with them. Actively seeking and developing new business will also be a key responsibility in this role. What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed you must be CTA qualified (have at least two years since qualifying) and have experience working in an accountancy practice. Your previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm will allow you to understand the importance of managing a varied workload with strict deadlines, all whilst developing your commercial acumen and ability to spot additional opportunities for the firm. You must also be a team player, supportive and friendly as well as possessing excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This role is largely client facing so you will be expected to build and maintain relationships, representing their interests using your professional expertise and commercial acumen.
