Sellick partnership are currently recruiting an interim Research Analyst for our Public Sector client in Bristol. Our client are currently working on a new and exciting project which requires experienced analysts to join them for a short term period and help analyse responses to a public consultation. Staff will be required to recognise patterns and trends in responses, and report these results.

Main duties of the Consultation Response Analyst role:

  • Attend the Bristol for the first day for initial training and to understand the scope of the role
  • Read responses to the consultation and use your understanding to help develop categories that describe the points which have been raised
  • Capture common themes and issues
  • Work line by line through responses and 'code' their content using careful analysis
  • Create a qualitative and quantitative record
  • You will use Microsoft Word to review responses, and Excel to record results.

Key Skills and Experience of the Consultation Response Analyst:

  • Desirable: experience of working in research or regulation
  • Desirable: Reading and assimilating information; qualitative analysis and research
  • Experience of working with MS Word and Excel (and populating fields)
  • Good understanding of written English
  • Experience of working within research, editing.
