Production Planner
Location: Bristol
Pay Range/details: £28,000 - £35,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Our new client is looking to hire an experienced Production Planner. If you're hard-working and dedicated with 5 years’ experience in a similar position we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities – Production Planner
- The execution of jobs at specific times across two manufacturing sites, whilst tracking job execution and customer need.
- Determining when products will be manufactured to maximize efficiency while limiting stockouts and unbalanced inputs and outputs.
- Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules and targets · Balance existing labour, skills and tooling. challenge production on the adherence to plan
To communicate relevant departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs - To integrate sales orders with master schedule; coordinate availability of raw materials, supplies equipment and staff as needed to meet delivery dates
- Produce weekly management reports outlining KPI performance
Qualifications & Requirements – Production Panner
- At least 5 years related experience and MRP literate
- Inventory management expereinced
- LEAN or other relevant qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of supply chain
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
