Role & Responsibilities:
- To manage/train and encourage the Quality inspectors within the department
- To comply with and enforce all Group and Site, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ensure H&S risk assessments are conducted as appropriate and that all actions identified are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain the calibration system for all measuring equipment
- To report on the performance of the sites QHSE performance against agreed targets and objectives
- Facilitate and communicate QHSE expectations throughout the plant
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Good understanding is TS19649, ISO9001, ISO 14001, REACH, H&S and customer specific requirements
- Trained internal auditor
- Competent in report writing
- Problem solving skills using a structured approach and recognised tools
