Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is ready to support our students and teachers starting this September. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with classroom activities, providing individual support to students, and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Assist in the assessment and recording of student progress.
  • Contribute to the development of a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Participate in school events and activities, fostering a sense of community.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to share best practices and enhance the educational experience for all students.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A willingness to take on new challenges and embrace innovative teaching methods.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
