Senior Network Administrator

Title: Senior Network AdministratorLocation: Bristol / Full Time / Hybrid

Senior Network Administrator required to join leading international communications technology company based in Bristol, to work upon implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure environment. If you are passionate about networking and IT infrastructure and eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and configure IT systems across multiple sites.
  • Manage and configure AWS, Azure, and Office 365 environments.
  • Configure and implement firewalls.
  • Ensure the availability of IT resources, including servers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Provide escalation support to IT operations personnel.
  • Perform system upgrades and security configurations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive understanding of networking concepts (Routing, Switching, VLANs, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto NGFW.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and Entra ID.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP).
  • Experience with Active Directory, CA, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Microsoft InTune, and AWS is a plus.
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours.
  • Ability to support global multisite environments.
  • Strong multitasking, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Requirements:

  • BA degree (or higher) OR Significant experience with network systems
