As a result of continued growth, this award-winning insurance company, based in Bristol, has a superb opportunity for a Trainee Underwriter to specialise within the fascinating sector of Legal Expenses Insurance.Our client is very much the 'go to’ provider of Legal Expenses products, which it supplies to an impressive number of insurance brokers throughout the UK. The company provides a wide range of products to cater for both commercial and private customers, and is well-renowned for its innovative approach to providing bespoke insurance solutions.It is not essential that you have previous experience specifically within Legal Expenses Insurance, because full, comprehensive training will be provided. This is a very varied role, where you will be managing your own portfolio of insurance business, taking ownership of accounts in collaboration with the sales team. Duties will include, but not be limited to, reviewing and assessing new insurance business applications and providing the sales team with quotations, using your analytical skills to understand historic trends and claims experiences, and monitoring your insurance portfolio to ensure it meets the company’s risk appetite and remains profitable. You’ll enjoy working as part of a busy team, and relish in swapping from one task to another.
