Job Title: Catering Assistants (Two Positions Available)
Location: Avonmouth
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time
Position 1: Night Shift Catering Assistant
- Days: Tuesday and Wednesday / 22hrs per week
- Shift: 5:00 pm to 4:45 am
- Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour
Position 2: Day Shift Catering Assistant
- Days: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday / 28hrs per week
- Shift Timing: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
On behalf of our client, a leading distribution center based in Avonmouth, we are currently seeking a Catering Assistants to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our catering operations and ensuring the smooth running of services. You will work closely with kitchen team to assist in food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef.
- Serving food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
- Providing excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience of our customers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work according to the assigned shifts and schedules.
- Food hygiene certification is desirable.
