Legal Project Manager required by our market leading, award winning, legal sector client who can be based out of one of their 11 UK offices. This will be a hybrid role with 2 days a week onsite but with flexibility.

The Role

  • Work directly with lawyers and clients to develop matter plans, pricing, budgets, timelines and clearly defined scopes.
  • Manage matters, projects and portfolios to ensure delivery on time, within budget and scope, while managing risks and scope changes.
  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues on proposals and bids where legal project management is integral.
  • Apply consistent LPM approaches across all matters.
  • Support the wider business by helping to upskill colleagues in LPM best practice.
  • Act as an advocate for Legal Project Management, both internally and externally.
  • Work in a hybrid model, with flexibility to balance office and remote working.

Skills & Experience

  • A law degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A recognised project management qualification (APM preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project management role.
  • Strong knowledge of leading project management tools (e.g. MS Project).
  • Proven experience managing legal projects using recognised methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.
  • Experience across a range of legal projects, including litigation, corporate transactions, real estate, contract management, remediation, technology implementation and transformation projects.
  • A track record of embedding legal and other technology into businesses, with a focus on change management.
  • Previous experience in the legal or professional services sector is highly desirable.
