LHH Legal Recruitment Solutions have been instructed by one of our partner clients to appoint a Senior Planning Lawyer to join a Legal 500 and Chambers recognised firm's Planning and Environment team in the Southwest.

This firm would present a brilliant opportunity for a Senior planning lawyer. The firm's strong presence in both Developer and Energy and Energy and Infrastructure will not only allow you to collaborate with professionals at other top regional and city firms, but allow you to work with high-calibre clients and help bring their interesting and challenging matters to reality.

More so, as a key hire for the team you will be instrumental for their growth plans and developing the department, working with a key Partner, and developing junior legal professionals within your team.

Role Overview

As senior Planning Lawyer you will have the chance to undertake all manners of planning work offering high level strategic and practical advice on matters. Managing legal risk on planning applications, advising on procedures, and ensuring compliance, reviewing and coordinating application materials from all external sources and environmental impact assessments to ensure consistency.

Candidate Requirements

With extensive experience in the Planning and Environmental sector you will have an appetite for working on technical and challenging matters to ensure client needs are met and understood.

Whilst not essential, housing development experience would be beneficial to the role.
