Payroll Assistant

Juice Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an independent accountancy practice with the appointment of a Payroll assistant to join their expanding team in South Bristol. We are seeking a talented, motivated and enthusiastic professional with experience in Payroll.

You will be providing payroll, administration and compliance support within the accountancy practice.

DAY TO DAY:

• Preparation of payrolls for clients using BrightPay/Moneysoftl payroll software.
• Processing high volume payrolls from start to finish for multiple pay frequencies.
• Validation of data before forwarding to client to ensure accuracy details.
• Ensuring that client payrolls deadlines and met and submissions are made to HMRC.
• End of Year processing including PAYE reconciliations and final submissions.
• Dealing with daily correspondence in the form of telephone calls, emails and post from clients, employees, and 3rd Parties such as HMRC and client auditors.
• Working as part of a team to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Knowledge of UK Taxation including expenses and benefits would be an advantage.

WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:

• Previous Payroll experience 1 years +
• Previous experience within a practice firm is desirable but not essential
• High level of attention to detail
• Previous experience using BrightPay/Moneysoft is desirable but not essential
• A self motivated and positive attitude
