One of the UK’s largest Construction Consultancies is looking for a Project Director with a background in Project Management to oversee a large Data Centre project!

THE COMPANY 

The client is one of the leading Consultancies in the UK with a network of offices across the country. They work across various Property and Infrastructure sectors and are involved in some of the regions largest projects. They have an outstanding reputation and strong track record of developing their employees to Director level positions. The company culture is inclusive and relaxed which creates an enjoyable office experience.

THE POSITION 

The position is for a Project Director who will be in charge of overseeing a large Data Centre project which the client has recently won. The project is currently at the pre-construction stage and they are looking for an experienced individual to help lead it from inception through to completion. The project is located in South Wales however you will be running it from their Bristol office. Project value £500 million. 

THE CANDIDATE 

The successful Project Director must: 

  • Have a relevant degree and ideally be Chartered 
  • Have experience leading large, complex projects 
  • Have experience working within a heavy regulated industry such as Data Centres, Laboratiories, Life Sciences, Healthcare or Education 
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the NEC forms of contract
  • Have good communication and client facing skills
