Our client is seeking a highly organised Finance and Estates Officer to join their central team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of their finance and estates departments, providing essential support as the Trust grows. The successful candidate will enjoy a hybrid working system with a flexible approach to office presence, to be discussed at interview.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Manage all aspects of the purchase ledger administration, including order placement, invoice processing, payment runs, and query resolution.
  • Collaborate with finance officers to manage workload and maintain the finance mailbox.
  • Ensure compliance with the Trust’s Financial Regulations Manual and the ESFA’s Academy Financial Handbook.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and provide administrative support to the Estates Team and Estates Manager.
  • Liaise with contractors, compile and update the Contractor List, and support with Risk Assessments and Policies for the schools within the Trust.
  • Assist with premises and facilities lettings, including client and colleague liaison and paperwork management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in finance and/or estates administration is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to forge good relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate paper and electronic records.
  • Understanding of financial regulations within an educational or similar setting.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults.
