Position – Mental Health Support Worker

Salary – £16,380 to £31,606 p.a.
Hours – We have days OR nights on offer. Full and part time hours:
9.5 vacancies all together
4 x full time 35 hour weekly, days only positions working earlies; 7am to 2.30pm and lates: 2.00pm to 9.30pm. Worked on a rolling rota involving work every other weekend - Salary is £25,480 p.a
2 x 28 part-time weekly hours, days only. Same rota - Salary is 20,384 p.a
1 x 22.5 part-time weekly hours, days only. Salary is £16,380 p.a
2.5 x 38 full time weekly hours, waking nights working 9.00pm to 7.30am. Salary is £31,616 p.a

About the role – These positions are required to support a young lady with complex mental health support. Needs who has spent a lot of her life institutionalized. Having been discharged from hospital and now living in a purpose built bungalow, she requires around the clock support as she is high risk.
Qualifications and Experience required –
A driving license and access to own car is essential.
You need an Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Previous experience as a mental health support worker is essential and the ability to de-escalate behaviours that at time can challenge
A strong communicator who can encourage participation in person led activities and promoting positive behaviours.
