Estimator - Industrial Doors
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join a dynamic industrial
door company based in Bristol. This role is pivotal in coordinating, pricing, and costing new door
and replacement part quotations, ensuring prospective customers receive timely and accurate
proposals. If you have a knack for numbers, excellent communication skills, and a passion for

To be successful within this Estimator role
- Service Sector: A background in service would be a benefit but full training will be
provided.
- Numerically Savvy: You have strong numeracy skills, capable of calculating costs and
quotations with precision.
- Communicator: With your good telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills,
you're able to build relationships and communicate effectively.
- Organized: Your exceptional organization skills mean you can handle multiple tasks
efficiently, paying close attention to the details.
- Tech-Friendly: You're familiar with MS Office and have experience with CRM software,
making you adept at managing data and customer information.
- Problem Solver: You're a relationship builder who looks at the details, ready to
coordinate and ensure smooth processes.
Estimator Responsibilities
- Track and Report Sales: Monitor and document activities related to quotes and
potential sales opportunities.
- Generate Quotations: After engineer visits, compute and furnish repair estimates.
- Coordinate with Suppliers: Work with suppliers to secure the necessary commercial
and engineering inputs for timely and accurate customer pricing, prioritizing quality.
- Seek Quotation Feedback: Reach out to customers by phone and email for their
feedback and approval on provided quotes.
- Respond to Email Inquiries: Address incoming customer questions via email swiftly
and with professionalism.
- Engage with Supply Chain: Ensure that all commercial and technical specifications
from supply partners are incorporated appropriately.
- Procure and Allocate Parts: Order necessary parts for planned projects from suppliers,
assigning them in the CRM in coordination with the Service Planner for seamless
logistics integration.
- CRM and Invoice Management: Post-engineer visits, synchronize CRM data with
quotes to facilitate the quick issuance of invoices.
- Log Sales Activity: Keep an accurate record of sales transactions and communicate
weekly updates to Senior Management.
Estimator Package
- Salary highly dependent on experience, circa 32,000 but can be flexible to an extent
- 33 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
