We are seeking a dynamic SEN Teacher or Sports Coach to work with a lively group of Year 9/10 boys who are sporty and energetic. This role is ideal for an active and sporty individual who can be flexible with the timetable and activities to suit the needs of the students. All academic work will be provided by subject leads, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging sessions throughout the day.

Day to day of the role:
  • Supervise and support a designated group of Year 9/10 boys throughout the school day.
  • Implement and adapt the provided curriculum to meet the studentsā€™ needs while keeping them engaged and motivated.
  • Use sports and physical activities as a medium to teach various skills and promote teamwork.
  • Be flexible in managing the timetable and activities to cater to the dynamic nature of the group.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to participate actively.
  • Work closely with subject leads to ensure consistency and progress in studentsā€™ academic performance.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of students, both in academics and personal development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in SEN teaching or sports coaching, particularly with secondary school age groups.
  • Ability to manage and engage active and energetic students.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to teaching and mentoring.
  • Flexibility to adapt teaching methods and activities.
  • A passion for sports and physical education.
