We have a rolefor an experiencedStoresPerson and Forklift Driverpaying 13ph within a local business who can offer career progressionfrom the start. You will become part of a vital stores team within the busy manufacturing company in Poole, ensuring the factory always has enough materials and even assistingthe MachineOperatorss and Engineers as and when needed.
This is role is working Monday to Fridays on a day shift with a 12:30pm finish on a Friday
To apply for this StoresPerson and Forklift Driver position, you must have:
- Experience working in Stores,Goods in and Despatch
- Good communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- PC Literate and able to maintainrecordsaccurately
- Ability to work alone & also in a team
- Forklift license would be advantageous
- Ensuring all parts are stored or issued in the correct way to avoid damage.
- Picking and kitting
- Maintaining accurate records on ERP systems as well as completing paperwork quickly and efficiently
- Carrying out general delivery/collection duties as required and requested to shop floor
- Moving materials
- Working in factory andmachine operators & engineers
- Helping tidy and clean workshop includingemptying bins,clearing work benches, sweepingfloors.
- Using forklift to move materials and unload deliveries
