An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join my client, a highly reputable law firm based in Broadstone, Dorset. The successful candidate will provide full secretarial and administrative support to a team of fee earners, liaising with clients and other staff as appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Duties
- Liaising with clients over the phone and face-to-face
- Audio/copy typing
- File opening
- Document management
- Supporting fee earners
- Diary management
- General administrative
The candidate
- Will be presentable, flexible and maintain a friendly and approachable persona.
- You will have daily client contact so an excellent standard of client care is essential
- Will be calm, even under pressure, and understand the importance of working in an organised manner to timeframes.
- You will have previous knowledge of working in the legal (preferably probate) industry
- You will be undertaking various administration tasks which will include audio typing
- You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills
