We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our client in the Cotswolds. Our client, a 3 star hotel with a 2 rosette restaurant located in the popular village of Broadway. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bustling bar and ensuring exceptional customer service.

The bar Manager also needs in depth cocktail and product knowledge, having previously worked in a similar hotel style environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dynamic individual who is passionate about delivering memorable experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

·Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including staff management, inventory control, and quality assurance.

·Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining high standards of service.

·Train and supervise bar staff on service techniques, product knowledge, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

·Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for both guests and team members.

·Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service, maintaining consistency in beverage offerings.

·Manage the procurement and inventory of beverages, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.

·Stay up to date with industry trends and new product launches, making recommendations for menu updates and promotions.

Requirements

·At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role within a bar or restaurant environment.

·Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, with the ability to train and mentor staff.

·Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment.

·Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and staff.

·Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and managing costs effectively.

·Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

·Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
