We are seeking a Payroll Implementation Consultant for a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Bromley. The consultant will play a crucial role in integrating the payroll systems for 2 businesses onto the I-trent system by 01 July 2025. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage project deliverables effectively and collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless transition.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead the onboarding process for the payroll systems on-to the I-trent platform.
  • Develop and execute the payroll project plan in alignment with the overarching project objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Manage the cleansing of payroll data prior to system migration to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle the complete transformation of data from the existing systems of the schools before integration into the current organisation's system.
  • Configure payroll-specific elements within the system, including fast formulas, process flows, and calculation cards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation phases, culminating in successful go-live activities.
  • Liaise with the Group Payroll Manager, Trust Project Manager, and Director of HR (LSEAT) to ensure the project is delivered on time.
  • Offer specialist knowledge in areas of payroll configuration to enhance system functionality.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to Itrent that arise during the onboarding process.
  • Document all setups, tests, and validation efforts comprehensively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in payroll system implementation, preferably with I-trent.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead a project through the full lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle complex data transformations.
  • Proficient in configuring payroll systems, testing, and validation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various organisational levels.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and concisely for future reference.
