Legal Assistant - Residential New Build

£25,000 - £28,000

Southeast London

We are working with a well-established law firm in South East London who are seeking a Legal Assistant to join their busy Residential New Build team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in residential conveyancing who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The role is full-time and office-based for the first three months, with the potential for hybrid working following the successful completion of probation. You will be responsible for supporting conveyancers across the full transaction process - from initial instruction to post-completion. This includes assisting with AML checks, preparing files for exchange and completion, reviewing mortgage offers, liaising with clients, and ensuring all case management records and documentation are kept up to date.

This position will suit someone with strong communication and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to client care. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel, is essential.
