My client in Bromsgrove is seeking a Sales Support Assistant due to continued growth.Your main objective is to efficiently and accurately process customer orders ensuring a steady flow of work in the operations team. Responsibilities also include taking phone calls, processing orders received via email, telephone or from the website, sending acknowledgements, and other customer service and office administration duties.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

  • Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week. Your normal working hours are from 09.00am to 3.00pm from Monday to Friday inclusive of a 20-minute lunch break.
  • You will be required to work 39 weeks per year between September and July. You are not require to work during school holidays, including half-term holidays.
  • Ability to buy up to 5 days of unpaid leave during school term-time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing quotes for sales executives.
  • Email Inbox management for sales executives’ emails including actioning as many as possible and flagging those that the SE’s need to action.
  • Working with Purchasing to source specials and alternative product requests from customers.
  • Liaising with suppliers to organise samples.
  • Prepare samples and quotes to send to customers.
  • Any other office duties as required by management.
  • Provide cover for staff absences.
