Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader in a busy yet inclusive transport department. Working on a 4 on 4 off basis, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of employees to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.
Duties include but not limited to:
Dispatching and debriefing drivers
Managing driver hours fairly
Managing Infringements
Planning drivers day to day
Recording and management of vehicle defects
Accident investigation
Formal investigations and note taking
Skills:
IT Literate with Microsoft Excel
Experience with Transport Management software (ie mandata, Microlise, TruTac)
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
Previous experience in supervising or managing a team is preferred
