Complex Needs Teaching Assistant - Burgess Hill

We are currently working with an exceptional SEND All-through School located in Burgess Hill who are seeking to recruit a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant.

All students attending must have an EHCP and the needs include:

• VI - Visual Impairment

• HI - Hearing Impairment

• SLCN - Speech, language and Communication

• ASD - Autistic Spectrum Disorder

• EMH - Social, Emotional and Mental Health

• PD - Physical Disability

• MLD - Moderate Learning Difficulty

• SLD - Severe Learning Difficulty

• PMLD - Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty

You will work under the direction and guidance of the class teacher or a HLTA/associate teacher/senior staff, and within an agreed system of supervision.

The role will include providing educational and personal support to children with learning, social and communication, physical,medical, sensory and/or behavioural difficulties and needs, both in and out of school within the school day.

We are looking for candidates with recent SEND experience working with children in schools who are available full-time to start ASAP! This role would also be suitable for Graduates or people looking to start a career within Special Education.

About the role:

• Earn up to £450 per week

• Full-time and permanent positions available

• Small group work and intervention support responsibilities

• 1:1 support for special needs and lower ability pupils
