One of the UK's leading automotive suppliers is looking for a Driver to join their team in Burgess Hill.

• Full time (40 hours per week), permanent position
• £23,795 per annum
• Full UK driving licence essential

Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers to the vehicle repair and refinish industry. They are looking for an experienced Driver to join their team based in Burgess Hill.

As a Delivery Driver, it will be your responsibility to ensure goods are delivered to customers in an accurate and efficient manner and to oversee and control/maintain suitable stock for prompt and efficient delivery to customers with responsibility for stock handling and control.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Efficient and accurate delivery and collection of goods as instructed and in accordance with the correct procedure.
• Responding to customers’ requests for stock and general queries either by telephone or over the counter and select and assemble goods accurately for customers as required.
• Maintaining adequate stocks of product in anticipation of customer demand and control stock movement using appropriate company documentation.
• Reporting and taking necessary action in respect of damages, discrepancies or faults, to ensure goods are fit for resale and any product likely to exceed its shelf life to be reported to purchasing or sold.
• Answering telephone and counter enquiries and complaints in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
• Carrying out all duties so as to promote good customer relations and develop future business.
• Attending branch meetings on a weekly/monthly basis and carry out other non-specified duties as required by senior management from time to time.
