A rapidly expanding technical service solutions business, specialising in industrial air systems is seeking a qualified candidate for an internal sales position. The company has over 65 years of trading history and successful organic growth, and holds a significant market share.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working from a mixture of annual existing contract renewals and "warm" sales leads.
  • Provide quotations as required for service packages and individual service tasks offered.
  • Ensuring all quotations are logged onto the operating system daily.
  • Producing and sending out quotes in a timely manner.
  • Proactively chasing customer orders.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure our customer experience is positive.
  • Liaise with external customers to ensure that quotations are received in accordance with agreed timescales.
  • Contact clients by telephone and e-mail.
  • Identify opportunities to process orders and close sales.
  • Identify opportunities for referral to sales team.
  • Assist in developing clients via proactive desk-based sales processes.
  • Understand key clients development paths.
  • Advise the Team Leader of new opportunities to grow revenue streams.
  • Ensure records are maintained and monthly report produced showing progress against agreed criteria.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with the managers and staff of all sections throughout the company.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures.
  • To follow the company’s ISO procedures including filing or paperwork relating to all orders and quotations.
  • To carry out other ad hoc duties as required.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

  • Undertake risk assessment and take any necessary action to avoid potential health and safety hazards.
