Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their finance team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post payment receipts and allocate them in the accounting software.
- Schedule Direct Debit payments and ensure timely processing.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes.
- Process new account applications
- Collect outstanding debts through proactive telephone and email communications.
- Maintain accurate records of customer collection activities.
- Monitor and control aged debts, taking appropriate actions for resolution.
- Generate and distribute monthly and weekly customer statements.
- Maintain external customer stop lists and provide updates to relevant depots.
Core Requirements
- 2 Years of Credit Control experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excel Skills - VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables
