The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, to work for a well-established and expanding business in Burton on Trent. Working as part of a team, you carry out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and refurbishment duties on hydraulic systems. The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be well established within the field with experience in a customer facing role highly advantageous.

Responsibilities;

• Carry out site visits to diagnose fault and schedule a repair visit.• Repairs on mechanical & hydraulic systems both on site and in the workshop.• Carry out routine servicing on customer sites.• Highlight and offer customers additional services whilst on site.• Take the technical lead on site.

Candidate Expectation;

• Time served or apprentice trained • Excellent mechanical / hydraulic diagnostic, repair and servicing experience.• Experienced working in the field and in a customer facing role.• Confident to decision make and work autonomously.
